Our parish community joins the universal Church in mourning the passing of Pope Francis, the 266th Successor of St. Peter.

A humble shepherd, a voice for the marginalized, and a tireless witness to the mercy of God, Pope Francis led the Church with compassion, simplicity, and courage. His legacy of love, dialogue, and care for creation will continue to inspire generations to come.

Let us unite in prayer for the repose of his soul and for the whole Church in this time of mourning.

El día de ayer el grupo de jovenes se reunió como todos los martes, pero esta vez con una dinámica diferente, ya que conocieron como preparar aserrín de colores para fabricar una alfombra tradicional de semana santa, que sera elaborada para el altar del día del jueves santo. De esta manera ellos aprenden con algunos adultos sobre las tradiciones de los países latinos sobre la fe que inculcan en la devoción popular los mayores. Agradecemos a Deacon Mayonor y su esposa por la oportunidad de colaboración para con los jóvenes.

Yesterday, the youth group met as they do every Tuesday, but this time with a different dynamic. They learned how to prepare colored sawdust to make a traditional Holy Week carpet, which will be made for the altar of repose on Holy Thursday. In this way, they learned from adults about the traditions of Latin American countries and the faith that the elders instill in popular devotion. We thank Deacon Mayonor and his wife for the opportunity to collaborate with the youth.

Les recordamos que este Viernes tenemos la segunda charla de encuentros de Emaús con el Padre Gustavo después de misa de 7:00 pm; con el tema “La Muerte de Jesús”.

We remind everyone that this Friday we have the second Emmaus Gathering talk with Father Gustavo after the 7:00 pm Mass, on the topic “The Death of Jesus.”

Today April 06 at the Spanish Mass 11 am at our Parish: we had the third scrutiny for Catechumens, who are candidates for the sacraments of initiation, today’s Gospel talks about Lazarus resurrection inviting all of us to trust in the one who can give us life eternal; Also they candidates received the our father printed in a piece of paper.

Hoy 06 de Abril en la Misa en Español 11 am en nuestra Parroquia: tuvimos el tercer escrutinio para los Catecúmenos, quienes son los candidatos a los sacramentos de iniciación, el Evangelio de hoy habla de la resurrección de Lázaro invitándonos a todos a confiar en aquel que nos puede dar la vida eterna; también los candidatos recibieron el padrenuestro impreso en un papel.

We send our prayers and greetings to all the Salesians reunited in Turin for the General Chapter 29, here in the picture we see our Provincial Fr Mel Trinidad concelebrating Mass with our new Rector Major elected Fr. Fabio Attard who is presiding and Fr Hugo Orozco the Regional for InterAmerca.

After 7 pm Mass our Parish hosted the first talk of led by one of our parochial vicar: Fr. Gustavo Maratagon, SDB. This is Christian Formation Meetings for Adults, where we are discussing the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ (the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus). Everyone is invited to join.

Después de la misa de las 19:00, nuestra parroquia ofreció la primera charla, dirigida por uno de nuestros vicarios parroquiales: el P. Gustavo Martagón, SDB. Se trata de las reuniones de formación cristiana para adultos, donde conversamos sobre el Misterio Pascual de Jesucristo (Vida, Muerte y Resurrección de Jesús). Todos están invitados a participar.
