Today at the Spanish Mass 11 am at our Parish: we had the second scrutiny for Catechumens, who are candidates for the sacraments of initiation, is typically held on the fourth Sunday of Lent, today’s Gospel invited both parishioners and candidates to reflect on our own spiritual blindness: the prejudices, pride, and disbelief that sometimes prevent us from seeing Jesus at work in our lives. Just as the blind man was healed after washing in the Pool of Siloam, we too are called to immerse ourselves in the living waters of Baptism and renew our faith.

Hoy en la Misa en español de las 11 am en nuestra Parroquia: tuvimos el segundo escrutinio para los Catecúmenos, quienes son candidatos para los sacramentos de iniciación, el Evangelio de este Domingo nos invita a reflexionar sobre nuestra propia ceguera espiritual: los prejuicios, la soberbia y la incredulidad que a veces nos impiden ver a Jesús obrando en nuestras vidas. Así como el ciego fue sanado tras lavarse en la piscina de Siloé, nosotros también somos llamados a sumergirnos en el agua viva del Bautismo y a renovar nuestra fe.
